QuiteWrite is one part of my long-established practice,
Touchstone
Heritage Management Consultants.
I set up QuiteWrite in 2006 to provide a highly creative
and interpretive writing service, building upon the
work I have done under the Touchstone
banner. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but
often a few words can conjure up a thousand pictures
in the minds of readers or listeners.
This was the purpose of the Forest Vision Summaries
Lisa Wharton and I wrote for Forestry Commission
Scotland. We turned long and complex strategic plans
for 10 forest districts into short, pithy documents
- with a hint of poetry - for distribution to local
stakeholders and communities in each of the Commission's
working areas.
Words are the lifeblood of communication and we are
all in the business of communicating, getting and keeping
in touch.
If you need well-written words to explain or to entertain,
or provocative words to encourage folk to debate, deliberate
or contemplate, get in touch. You’ll find you’ve
been quite right.
If you would like help with your own writing skills, please get in touch.
I run creative writing courses from time to time and these are usually
in association with AHI (www.ahi.org.uk).
